LEAKED: Skins USA cast photo, via Celebriscoop. Apparently a friend of a cast member leaked it. Definitely an interesting preview of the upcoming MTV series!

I don’t care what any of you say, this is going to suck, and you know it.

What makes the program so relatable and interesting is the distinctive British youth culture attached it. The fact that UK programming let’s them get away with so many things (i.e. nudity, violence, swearing, copious drug use), is a major part of why this show is so gritty and edgy. And of course, being the bastardizing shit show that MTV is, they have come in and decided to cannibalize the Skins brand. If it’s even half as good as i’m giving it credit for, i’ll eat my words, but besides DARIA, I can’t think of one scripted MTV program that isn’t the most insipid, hacky bullshit you ever saw.
