Everyone should come! It’s going to be great.
Okay, I really wanted to love this. But, it was terrible. The only redeeming thing about this film was the cinematography and kitchy Polanski/Argento-esque stylings throughout the film that helped give it it’s build up. Which is exactly the problem, it built itself up with a slow, subtle climb, great soundtrack and genuinely creepy moments…and then phoned the rest of it in. The ending is so painfully obvious, albeit hacky, and abrupt, I would have felt the same if there was a post it note saying ‘I owe you one scene’ at the end. So, so disappointed.
